New supporting member: University of Neuchâtel

We are delighted to announce that the University of Neuchâtel has joined Open Knowledge Maps as a supporting member. The University of Neuchâtel (UniNE) is located in the French-speaking part of Switzerland between Geneva, Bern and Zurich. They are the third Swiss university joining Open Knowledge Maps.

With a stunning backdrop provided by the lake and the Alps beyond, University of Neuchâtel hosts more than 4000 students, with 42% coming from other Swiss cantons and 22% from abroad. The university’s modest size sets it apart from the crowd. Its students benefit from easy access to teaching staff and research teams, and its friendly atmosphere promotes the free exchange of ideas.

Laurent Gobat, Head of academic information and libraries, outlines the reasons for becoming a member:

"As a picture is worth a thousand words, the Open Knowledge Maps are probably the best way to discover new scientific knowledge. There is no way we could have missed such a great opportunity!" Laurent Gobat, Head of academic information and libraries, University of Neuchatel, Switzerland

We warmly welcome the University of Neuchâtel and kindly invite further organisations to join and shape the future of discovery together with us. Find out more about the supporting membership program.
